Arz El-Rab Perfume by Berdoues, First launched in 2015, Arz El-Rab by the French design house Parfums Berdoues is a deep, intriguing wood and spice fragrance that evokes the otherworldly beauty of the ancient cedar forests of the Middle East. Arz El-Rab refers to the "cedars of god forest" that surround Mount Lebanon. This subtly striking scent blends the incomparable, sweetly aromatic aroma of cedar wood with the iridescent, powdered nuances of iris and the refreshing citrus spice of raw ginger root. The ingredients sourced for this perfume include ginger from China, blue iris from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, and essential oil distilled from Virginian red cedar. Perfumer Cyrill Roland developed this composition.
This old perfume house was established in 1902 in Toulouse, France by Guillaume Berdoues, and has remained in the family for over 4 generations. House fragrances were made in collaboration with Phillippe Romano, Cyrill Roland, Sebastien Martin, Flavien Laurandeau, Alexandra Monet, Angeline Leporini, Jennifer Riley and Christian Vermorel.
