Bambou Perfume by Weil, Although Bambou perfume was first introduced by Weil in 1984, the brand rereleased the fragrance in 1991 with a new outer carton. It features a delightful blend of notes, and its composition opens with the strong aroma of Sicilian bergamot. The heart is comprised of tuberose, ylang-ylang, rose tea and jasmine. These layers rest on a base consisting of Bourbon vetiver, oak moss and Mysore sandalwood.
In 1912, Weil began as a small furrier company. Three brothers, Marcel, Jacques and Alfred, started the brand, and in 1927, the business moved into the perfumery industry. The initial idea was to merely provide scents for the company's fur coats, but it quickly expanded from there. Although the company began in Paris, it moved operations into the United States in the 1940s. The company has gone through many changes in ownership over the years, but its quality has never declined. Enjoy the casual scent provided by Bambou perfume.
